The first 3 weeks

We have only been in our new location for 3 weeks, but we are starting to get settled in. Mr. TJ Holgerson is a 4th degree certified instructor from McPherson attending Wichita State University. He has started to come in and help us and was our guest judge for our 1st testing. At our testing we 9 students test including Michaela Ensor testing for first degree decided.

Several students attended the Tournament in Kansas City on November 15th, Lisa Mahugh, Elizabeth Metz, Briggs Erwin, Jack Womble, Payton Lear and Madisen Huscher all attended. Some of the standout performances were Briggs and Madisen getting first in sparring and Lisa taking first in forms and second in sparring. Make sure you congratulate all these students the next time you see them.

Thank you Mr. Nelson for the update on the tournament. Wanted to make sure we gave a holler out to Payton Lear for her efforts at the tournament as well.

I encourage students and/or parents to post any TKD related info to the blog or forward to Mr. Nelson to be posted. We want to make sure that everyone is recongnized and understand that every effort is made to do so. In case of any errors this will help us to correct the matter.

I had the opportunity to watch all participants, with the exception of Mr. Jack Womble - we competed at the same time, and was very impressed with the efforts of all. Look forward to watching you all and more in Manhattan next month.
